GARDENING APPLICATOR FOR DELIVERING LIQUID CHEMICALS TO SELECTED VEGETATION

A gardening applicator (10) for efficiently delivering liquid chemicals (L) to selected vegetation is disclosed. The applicator includes a wind guard chamb er (40) through which a stream of emitted liquid chemicals (L) may be directed in a predetermined path (P) along a central axis of the wind guard chamber (40) . The wind guard chamber (40) is preferably tube shaped over a predetermined length and can incorporate a diffuser screen (70) or mesh which extends transversely across the predetermined path at the exit end of the wind guard chamber (40) such that the liquid chemicals (L) are finely dispersed upon passing through the diffuser screen (70). Actuation of a pressure activated pump head (16) may provide a pressurized stream of liquid chemicals (L) through the wind guard chamber (40) and onto the diffuser screen (70) where it is dispersed in a uniform circular pattern onto selected vegetation.
