The endoscopic instrument is accommodated at the front of a flexible tube (1) and is operated by a wire (2) moved by a handle (3) positioned at the opposite end of the tube. When the instrument is to be used for the removal of a sample of tissue for inspection, two needles (20), attached to both sides of the gripping arms (11) of the tweezers are inserted into the tissue and facilitate the precise taking of a sample without the risk of the instrument slipping on the tissue. The particular arrangement of the needles protects the center of the sample from being deformed or damaged.
