<p>An optical information recording method and apparatus for recording information while maintaining the direction in which a laser beam is emitted even if the information recording surface of an optical information recording medium is tilted. In performing OPC, the relation (reference equation) between the recording power and the asymmetry, the relation (first measurement equation) between the differential light intensity value and the recording power, the relation (second measurement equation) between the difference between the differential light intensity value and the reflectance and the recording power, the relation (third measurement equation) between the reflectance and the recording power, the differential light intensity value at which optimum asymmetry is set up, the recording power with which optimum asymmetry is set up, and the reflectance at which optimum asymmetry is set up are found and stored. In performing actual information recording, the recording power is corrected so as to always set up an optimum asymmetry by using the relations. Hence the reduction of the illuminance due to tilt of the information recording surface can be compensated without correcting the direction where the laser beam is emitted. A recorded medium on which a program therefore is also disclosed.</p> |
