The device is for producing layered wood sheets from glued-together veneers and involves a flat tension table (11), over the surface of which are distributed accommodations (13,14) for the selective fixture of tension pins (16) extending vertically from the table surface. The device (10) has components (25) for pressing a packet of glued veneers standing upwards with a narrow longitudinal edge on the tension table and has tension bolts (16) extending from the table surface. The accommodations (13,14) in the tension table are formed as holes.
