The invention relates to a pharynx side implant with a first and/or a second implant (1; 1'), each of which have two implant parts (46, 52; 60, 61), each with a front tongue side edge side or pharynx side wall side or soft palate edge side end (50, 56; 72, 74) and a back cervical vertebrae side end (48, 54; 76, 78). The two implant parts (46 and 52 and/or 60 and 61) of the implants (1, 1') are preferably bent in such a way that the convex side faces towards the inside of the pharynx or the pharyngeal mucosa when the implant is implanted. The back end (48, 54; 76, 78) of the implanted implant parts is fixed to or rests on the cervical spine (38) or rests on the tissue in front of the same or is implanted (fixed) in the tissue in front of the same.
