The invention relates to layering pipe for distribution and storing of an incoming liquid with an arbitrary temperature in a storage tank intended for said liquid in which the stored liquid is layered at different temperature levels due to differing densities. The layering pipe (7) comprises an outlet opening provided with a check-valve device which allows an outflow of liquid into the tank but prevents an inflow from the tank into the layering pipe. The outflow opening is in the shape of an elongate opening or slot (8) extending in the longitudinal direction of the layering pipe (7) and along essentially the whole length of the layering pipe. The check valve device comprises an elongate, flexible element (11), which is fixed relative to the layering pipe along a line or an area parallel to the longitudinal extension of the outflow opening and which overlaps the opening from the outside of the layering pipe. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the layering pipe further comprises a deaeration and throttling device. |
