A pressure sensitive rod (15) and an electromagnetic device (20) are provided at opposite sides of a valve (18). The electromagnetic device actuates the pressure sensitive rod and makes it expand and contract for operating valve to open and close connection paths (17a) connected to a discharge chamber and crank case of a variable capacity compressor. The electromagnetic device is connected to the pressure sensitive rod via a through hole (21) in the valve. An Independent claim is also included for the variable capacity compressor.
