In color photographic silver halide (AgX) material with a base and light-sensitive AgX emulsion layer(s) in which the emulsion is sensitized with compounds giving (a) sulfur and (b) selenium and/or tellurium, the emulsion is stabilized with dithiophosphoric or dithiophosphonic acid O-ester(s) (I) or salt(s) of (I). In color photographic silver halide (AgX) material with a base and light-sensitive AgX emulsion layer(s) in which the emulsion is sensitized with compounds giving (a) sulfur and (b) selenium and/or tellurium, the emulsion is stabilized with dithiophosphoric or dithiophosphonic acid O-ester(s) of formula (I) or salt(s) of (I). R1 = alkyl, aryl or OR2; R2 = aryl or alkyl; or R<1>R<2> = a group completing an oxa- or dioxaphospholane group.
