The invention relates to a machine tool (10) which is fitted with a workpiece holder (19) in which a workpiece (18) to be machined can be fixed and a spindle head (14) in which a rotating tool spindle (15) is mounted in which tools (16) for machining the workpieces (18) can be clamped. The invention also provides for a device (26) for removing and holding the workpiece (18), which has been fully machined in the workpiece holder (19), with a view to further machining. Said device (26) comprises a manipulator (27) for the displacement of a grasping element (28) with which a fully machined workpiece (18) situated in the workpiece holder (19) can be removed from same, as well as a clamping station (29) into which the grasping element (28) holding the workpiece (18) can be inserted.
