The shutting-off arrangement involves a decision criterion for the opening of the pipeline via e.g. a magnetic valve, involving a demand request via a switch contact of a connected gas consumer, or directly by a consumer via manually switching. A pressure loss in the pipeline is recognized as a disruption if it undershoots a threshold value, and the pipeline valve remains closed.
