The invention relates to a computer tomography (CT) device, whose operational parameters (I, T) can be adjusted. Said device has a control unit and elements for pre-selecting a combination of operational parameters (I, T) for a medical examination which is to be performed. If a combination of operational parameters (I, T) has been preselected for a medical examination which is to be performed that may lead to an unacceptable operational state, a control unit determines a value for at least one operational parameter (I, T) which deviates from the pre-selected operational parameters (I, T). The scheduled examination can then be performed for this value whilst avoiding the unacceptable operational state, without any significant reduction in image quality, in relation to the pre-selected combination of operational parameters (I, T). |
