COMPOSITIONS FOR TREATING BRAIN INFARCTION

Medicinal or food compositions for treating brain infarction (in particular severe brain infarction inducing limb paralysis) and limb paralysis induced by brain infarction which contain melatonin in an amount efficacious in treating brain infarction (in particular severe brain infarction inducing limb paralysis) and limb paralysis induced by brain infarction and medicinal carrier(s); and utilization of melatonin for the production of the above medicinal compositions.
