A rotary disk valve (1) for automobile power steering systems contains a rotary disk (2) which is rotationally fixed to a valve inlet mechanism (4). The control bush (3) is rotationally fixed to a valve outlet mechanism (5). The two valve elements are arranged in such a way that they can move into each other, coaxially, and can be twisted in relation to each other about the torque path of a backlash coupling, maximum. The rotary disk (2) has longitudinal control grooves (6, 7) outside and inside the control bush, which interact to control a pressure agent that is conveyed to and from two working chambers of a servomotor. Said rotary disk (2) is connected to the valve outlet mechanism (5) via a torsion-bar spring (9). A one-part connecting element (10) compensates production-related tolerances, which could otherwise have undesirable effects on the driving performance.
