<p>The invention concerns a mechanical transmission device (22) comprising a spring (29) compressed between a first support component (28) fixed at the proper position on a pull wire (23) connected to the coupling control unit (21) and a second support component (30) pressed against the end (24) of a clutch release fork (25), via a mass of shock absorbing material (31). The wear of the linings (4) causes the stop element to slip (11) and the spring (29) to be compressed against the first support component (28).
