Control device for a hydrostatic machine

A control device for an adjustable hydrostatic machine with two flow directions has a double-working adjusting cylinder with piston and two pressure chambers, a control valve for the working fluid, operating according to an electrical signal, plus a safety circuit. The control valve [29] is a directly controlled 4/3 valve, whose central position has a positive overlap with blocked flow plus two end positions allowing flow. The working fluid is always available independently of the operational state of the hydrostatic machine. Another valve arrangement has a resetting valve [30] and a throttling neutral position valve [31]. The latter is adjustable synchronously and proportionally to the main piston [24] between zero and maximum volumes in central and end positions respectively....
