PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the mounting efficiency for mounting electronic parts, by setting the combinational patterns of sucking nozzles installed in a mounting head, and by determining the arrangement of the electronic parts disposed in a part feeding portion at every individual kind of the electronic parts based on these patterns. SOLUTION: A mounting head 2 is moved onto a casette column 10 to hold by respective sucking nozzles 3 electronic parts assigned by a mounting program. Then, the mounting head 2 is moved onto a recognizing camera 9 to photograph the electronic parts held by the respective sucking nozzles 3. From the photographed pictures by this recognizing camera 9, whether the electronic parts are held properly by the respective sucking nozzles 3 or not, and whether the electronic parts are faulty ones or not, are recognized to sense the attitude deviations, of their held positions from predetermined positions. Subsequently, the mounting head 2 is so moved onto the mounting positions present on a circuit board 4, whereon the electronic parts held by the respective nozzles 3 are mounted, as to perform corrective operations respondently to the recognized positional deviations from the predetermined positions by the recognizing camera 9. As a result, the electronic parts can be mounted accurately on their mounting positions. |
