PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sufficient engine brake at traveling downhill without making control complicated and increasing a program capacity. SOLUTION: In this gear ratio control device for a continuously variable transmission 60 for controlling a gear ratio in the continuously variable transmission connected to an engine, setting means 51-55 set a target rotating speed of an input part 21 of the continuous variable transmission based on a target output of the engine at traveling downhill. A control means 56 controls the gear ratio of the continuously variable transmission such that an actual rotating speed of the input part 21 becomes the target rotating speed of the input part 21. |
