PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of damage to an equipment and the shortage of heat in molten iron during the refining in a converter by using slag produced in the other decarburize-refining and/or dephosphor-refining for a molten iron treatment-reacting vessel for executing the desiliconizing treatment and/or dephosphorizing treatment of the molten iron. SOLUTION: In the molten iron treatment-reacting vessel 1, the molten iron 2 to be treated with the desiliconizing or dephosphorizing and the necessary slag 3 are charged. Gas 5 for stirring is blown into the molten iron 2 from an immersion lance 4, and while stirring the molten iron 2 and the slag 3, gaseous oxygen 7 is top-blown near the surface of the slag 3 and the molten iron 2 from a top-blowing lance 6 to execute the siliconization and the dephosphorization in the molten iron 2. When the desiliconizing or dephosphorizing treatment is executed to the molten iron 2 tapped from a blast furnace, the decarburized slag 8 already used for the decarburize-refining and/or the dephosphorized slag 9 already used for the dephosphorizing treatment are added into the treatment-reacting vessel 1. In this way, the slags 8, 9 are fluidized, and the slag 3 is diluted and the content of SiO2 or P2O5 in the slag 3 is lowered and their activities are lowered.
