PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover powdery chips floating within processing chambers reliably and efficiently. SOLUTION: The strengthening device for metal parts comprises a metal parts holding mechanism 16 for retaining a metal part 12 in a processing chamber 14a, a projecting mechanism 24 for projecting a jet 22 of water 18 and glass beads 20 at the metal part 12, a recovering mechanism 26 for drawing in powdery chips 20a, or the glass beads 20 crashing against the surface of the metal part 12, to recover them as they are in the drainage, and a sorting mechanism 28 for sorting the recovered drainage again into the water 18 and the powdery chips 20a.
