A system is provided for performing and recording transactions in connection with vending of articles in connection with vending terminals, especially vending trolleys on board transportation means such as aircraft, trains, ferries, buses, etc. The system comprises computer means, display means, input means and output means, at least part of the input means being constituted by a dynamic key displayed in the display means. The system also comprises means for detecting and correcting, in RAM means incorporated in the system, RAM errors introduced by external radiation.
