PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple device and method for efficiently extracting effective ingredients from a base material of animals and plans, or the like. SOLUTION: Water in a vessel 1 is heated to make steam and the steam is carried on air flow generated by a blower 8 and is brought into contact with a depressed base material held in an extraction device 2. The ingredients in the base material is extracted onto the surface by evacuating the inside of the extraction device 2 with the resistance of the base material and caught by the steam and the steam is condensed in a condensation device 3 cooled by an electric cooler. The steam not condensed in the condensation device 3 is recycled to the vessel 1 through the blower 8. Thus, the colorless and transparent liquid containing the effective ingredients in the base material, which are conventionally not extracted, is efficiently obtained. |
