PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate a side part of paper by a side guide, constitute the side guide as an integrally molded article of resin, and simplify a structure, so that regulating action relating to a side surface part of the paper can be well displayed, in a paper feed cassette of universal type. SOLUTION: A side guide 10 mounted in a paper feed cassette is integrally formed with a vertical plate member, cross member 12, and a space hold member 15 by using a resin material having elasticity, to be assembled together by mounting protrusion members 13, 14 in mounting holes 25, 26 provided in a bottom plate of the paper feed cassette. A snubber is supported relating to the side guide, to be arranged between itself and a cassette side plate 3, so as to well perform paper holding action by the side guide.
