PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily turn a cap body of a PET bottle while putting a palm onto the upside of a the cap body and while bending fingers downward and inserting fingers respectively into finger insertion parts by a method wherein a fitting hole of a turning device main body is fitted onto the outer circumferential face of the cap body screwed down onto a mouth part of a bottle main body of the PET bottle and vertical dents and projections formed at the outer circumferential face of the cap body and vertical fitting dents and projections formed at the inner circumferential face of the fitting hole are engaged with one another. SOLUTION: A fitting hole 2 for attaching to and detaching from the outer circumferential face of a cap body screwed down onto a mouth part of a bottle main body is formed at the center of a synthetic resin turning device main body 1 while vertical fitting dents and projections 2a capable of fitting to vertical dents and projections formed at the outer circumferential face of the cap body are formed at the inner circumferential face of the fitting hole, and a plurality of finger insertion parts 4 for inserting fingers therein are formed at the outer circumferential part of the turning device main body.
