LABEL RELEASE MECHANISM FOR LABEL PRINTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label release mechanism for a label printer for easily setting a label with a mounting paper on a label printer. SOLUTION: A press member substrate 20 is set rotatably around a supporting axis 21, and a press member 17 moving to a pressing position whereon the press member substrate 20 is rotated around the axis 21 to press a mounting paper 1 and the folding-back angle formed by a label release body 6 of the mounting paper 1 is formed into a sharp angle and also moving to an open position whereon the pressing to the mounting paper 1 is released to open widely a mounting paper carrying line 22 is set on the press member substrate 20. When a label 3 with the mounting paper is set on a label printer, the press member substrate 20 is rotated around the supporting axis 21 to move the press member 17 to the open position whereon the mounting paper carrying line 22 is widely opened and easily carry out the work of passing through the mounting paper 1 through the inside of the mounting paper carrying line 22.
