PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress frictional stains and scratches on sheets of paper in an inexpensive and easy manner. SOLUTION: The guide element 100 for arrangement under a transfer drum in a multicolor sheet-fed printing machine comprises a guide bar 110 and a guide cover 120 removably mounted on a guide surface of the guide bar 110. The guide cover 120 consists of a strip-like polyamide base 121, sheaths 122 formed at both longitudinal ends of the base 121, a plurality of tongues 123 formed on both lateral sides of the base 121, a polyamide loop piece. 124 spreading over the obverse of the base 121 and having many piled projections, loop pieces 125a spreading over the obverses of the tongues 123 on one lateral side of the base 121, to form the loops of Hook-and-Loop fasteners, and hook pieces 125b spreading over the reverses of the tongue 123 on the other side of the base 121 to form the hooks of Hook-and-Loop fasteners.
