PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a tuft blanket, which is satisfactory in feeling and touch, has a volume feeling to be excellent in heat retaining property, is gentle to skin and avoids generating yarn cast off of pile lint. SOLUTION: After raising the side of the pile face of a tuft cloth obtained by tufting pile yarns 3 consisting of a straight-type fibers to a base cloth 2, the lint 3a on the side of the pile face is disturb-processed under a heating condition, and after raising the side of non-pile face of the tuft cloth after this disturbing processing, raised lint 3b on the side of the non-pile face is disturb-processed under the heating condition. This disturbing processing is desirably executed under a wet-heating condition and is desirable to be executed by using a tumble drier. In addition, it is desirable to give a shirring to both of the faces as a finishing process.
