PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a smoking item not having a health hazard due to nicotine by using a mixture of used tea leaves of black tea with tea leaves, spices, pericarps and/or the like without using tobacco leaves as a raw material. SOLUTION: Dried tea leaves, herds, spices, pericarps or the like is singly or in a combined state mixed with dried, used tea leaves of black tea adequately. A smoking item having the same form as cigarettes or the like is produced by using the mixture as a raw material.
