PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically mark a result of a teaching material operated by a student in a virtual space by structuring a primitive operation string where a history is recorded into a tree structure having abstract operations as nodes, and calculating the score of the whole operation strings based on the grading standard from a partial tree of the structured operation strings. SOLUTION: A practice content structuring means 3 receives a log 2 and a grammar 4 structures primitive operation strings into a tree structure having abstracted operations (abstract operations) as nodes. And, it outputs tree- structured operation strings (operation strings). The grammar 4 has a group of rewriting rules describing the relations between the abstract operation strings and the primitive operations or abstract operation strings. A grading means 5 compares the structured operation strings outputted by the practice content structuring means 3 with grading standard patterns 6, and if there is a matching rule there-between, the grading means outputs a corresponding score. The grading standard patterns are a group of rules representing the correspondence between the operations and the score.
