<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover a delay without deteriorating voice quality even when a delay is caused in voice communication in the case of assembling voice coded information into a packet and transmitting the packet. SOLUTION: An internal reception buffer 102 stores a reception packet C obtained from a network. In the case that number of received packets in the reception buffer 102 is zero, a complementary packet insert section 105 inserts a complementary packet prepared in advance to the received packet. In the case that the complementary packet is inserted, a counter 107 is counted up and a voiced sound and unvoiced pound discrimination circuit 104 discriminates voiced sound and unvoiced sound based on a confined voice signal. In the case that a result V of the voiced sound and unvoiced sound discrimination indicates unvoiced sound, the count of the counter 107 is larger than 0, and number of received packets stored in the reception buffer 102 is higher than 1, the oldest received packet stored in the reception buffer 102 is aborted and the count of the counter 107 is decremented.</p> |
