<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably feed rolls to paper feeders by individually controlling the conveyance of the rolls by multiple roll conveying self-propelled carriages based on the setup time of each roll. SOLUTION: The control of roll conveying self-propelled carriages (AGVs) 3 by a control device 11 is improved. The information of setup completion time of each roll 2 is written on a carriage database, and when the roll 2 loaded on an AGV 3 is set up is controlled by the control device 11. The elapsed time after the completion of setup is calculated from the information of the setup completion time of the roll 2. The control device 11 feeds the rolls 2 to paper feeders 1 in the order of setup completion among the rolls 2 matched with the winding width and winding type requested based on the calculation result and the individual numbers of the AGVs 3. The already set-up rolls 2 can be prevented from being left intact for a long time without being fitted to the paper feeders 1.</p> |
