PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna structure for a mobile radio unit by which satisfactory radiation efficiency of the antenna in both an extended state and a contained state can be obtained, resulting in providing an excellent characteristic of the antenna. SOLUTION: This antenna is structured such that the antenna is provided with a telescopic whip antenna 21, that is placed in a case of a mobile radio unit and has a straight rod section 22, with a helical antenna power feed section 23 that is provided to a tip of the whip antenna 21, and a helical antenna 24 connected to the helical antenna power feeding section 23. The whip antenna 21 is capacitively coupled with the helical antenna power feeding section 23 via an insulator 28. |
