PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording and reproducing device permitting simultaneous operation of recording and reproduction at a high speed onto arbitrary different parts on a disk. SOLUTION: A buffer memory 21 is arranged on the way of a recording system, and a buffer memory 14 is arranged on the way of a reproduction system. A data read rate is set, for example, quadruple as high as a data write rate in the buffer memory 21, and a data read rate is set, for example, to a quarter of the data write rate in the buffer memory 14. Moreover, a buffer memory 25 is arranged at the aft-stage of the buffer memory 21, and a buffer memory 26 is arranged at the pre-stage of the buffer memory 14. The data read rates of the buffer memories 25, 26 are equal to those by a CLV(constant liner velocity) control based on the central carrier frequency of the absolute address recorded on a disk 1 according to the CLV control system. |
