PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the developer to be fed to a developing sleeve when a drive is firstly transmitted by providing a shutter member as a substitute of toner sealing, and mounting a processing cartridge on the main body. SOLUTION: Relating to processing cartridge, the shutter member 10a is provided between the developer container 2 and opening of the toner container 3 so as to be movable in the direction orthogonal to the rotary shaft of the developing sleeve 8. The shutter member 10a is equipped with a rack, and the shutter shaft 10b equipped with a pinion 10b1 to be engaged therewith is arranged. A gear is arranged on an end part of the shutter shaft 10b, and the slide gear provided with a spline is arranged on the shaft engaging the gear with a gear of an agitation idler 3b. In such a manner, when the slide gear is rotated by the prescribed rotary number, the space between the slide gear and the gear of the agitation idler 3b is expanded, and the elevation of the shutter is stopped. |
