PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball polishing/lifting device for making pachinko balls smoothly flow between the outer surface of a transporting belt and the inner surface of an upper curved gutter to be discharged from the upper curved gutter. SOLUTION: In this ball polishing/lifting device for polishing/lifting pachinko balls, the gap between the inner surface 42a of an upper curved gutter 40 and the outer surface of a transporting belt 6 is larger than the diameter of a pachinko ball at least at the entrance of the upper curved gutter 40. Therefore, a pachinko ball released from the upper end of a guide rail cover will not strike against the lower end of the upper curved gutter 40 at the entrance of the upper curved gutter 40, and the pachinko ball will smoothly flow between the outer surface of the transporting belt 6 and the inner surface 42a of the upper curved gutter 40 to be discharged from the upper curved gutter 40.
