摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent material to be crushed from being caught, to improve productivity and current efficiency by restraining the fed quantity of small lumps consisting of sponge metal of high toughness to a crushing means so that a current value of a motor is controlled within a prescribed range and determining the control range of the current value according to bulk density of the small lumps. SOLUTION: A jaw crusher 10 as, a crushing means is driven by a motor and the current value of this motor is detected by an ammeter 11. A feeder 20 is provided with a switching chute 23 for selectively feeding sponge titanium small lumps as a material to be fed to a feeding conveyor 21 or returning conveyor 22. Furthermore, a damper 24 for switching between routes in the chute 23 is driven by a motor 25. In this case, the motor 25 is controlled by a controller 26 so that the current value detected by the ammeter 11 is controlled within the prescribed range to switch between the positions of the damper 24. The control range of the current value is changed based on bulk density estimated from the collecting position of the fed sponge titanium small lumps.
