PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery prevented from electrical malconnection during being charged and usable without any trouble at fishing spots severe in circumstances for its use. SOLUTION: This battery for fishing use is such one that a battery case housed with a chargeable secondary battery is separately furnished with an output terminal for connecting the connective part of a power supply cord thereto and a charging terminal for connecting the connective part of a charging cord and these cords are connected to the secondary battery; wherein the battery case is detachably mounted with a covering member for protecting the charging terminal and provided with an exhaust port for releasing therethrough the internal pressure during charging operation, and the exhaust port is covered with a covering member.
