PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and accurately form a spacer part for keeping thickness of a liquid crystal layer (a cell gap) at a fixed interval. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a color filter, a spacer part is formed by going through a step for forming a photosensitive resin composition layer with a first color selected from a group of three primary colors red, green and blue, which is preliminarily formed on a temporary supporting body, on a substrate with transferring, exposing and developing it through a photomask, and forming a pattern with the first color on a supporting body, a step to form a pattern with a color different from the first color with a similar method and a step to form a pattern with a color different from the first and the second colors and by partially laminating the photosensitive resin composition layers having at least two colors respectively. Also a spacer part is formed by similarly laminating a pattern with a color selected from the group of three primary colors and a black photosensitive resin composition layer. |
