PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jaw-shaped chuck having a plurality of fastening jaws balanced in a radial direction and an axial direction. SOLUTION: This fastening chuck is provided with six jaw carrying arms 4 operated two by two by the single same adjusting device 5. Each adjusting device is screw mounted in a pulling member 3 placing the center on an axial line of the chuck and sliding in an axial direction in a main body 1 through operation of a traction rod 11. Paired blade pieces 14a, 14b extended in each side in a central part of the adjusting device 5 are provided in the pulling member. The fastening chuck is applied to high speed machine work. |
