PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a degree of freedom in designing a decorative frame body to decorate a variable display device in which a ball rolling member is removably installed in the lower front. SOLUTION: This playing machine is provided with a surface decorative member(SDM) 42 which dedcorates peripheral parts of the image display part of a special variable display device, and a ball rolling member 44 which rolls balls in the front side of the image display part, and SDM 42 is removably installed from the surface side of a playboard 1, while the ball rolling member 44 becomes a decorative frame body integrated with SDM 42 and can be installed from the back side of the playboard 1 so that it is located in the lower side of the image display part. By this, even in the case where a motor and a solenoid are integrally installed in the lower side of the ball rolling member 44, restrictions in designing a decorative frame body can remarkably be decreased and a degree of freedom in designing can be improved, because it is unnecessary to enlarge the lower side part of the decorative frame body or to increase an angle of inclination of the ball rolling member 44.
