PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a van type truck with a wing enabling easy loading and unloading of cargo in a limited space. SOLUTION: This truck comprises a wing 1a, wing 1b, wire 5, first coil spring 6, linking means, and wing opening mechanism. The wing 1a is on the base end side covering a roof surface and upper side surface of a cargo box, pivotally supported on a roof portion or a guard frame 7. The wing 1b at the tip side covering the lower side surface is pivotally supported on the tip of the wing 1a. The wire 5 and first coil spring 6 for towing the wing 1b toward the inner side of the wing 1a such that the wings 1a, 1b are folded inward with each other, when opening the cargo box by lifting the wings 1a, 1b. The wing opening mechanism is provided with linking means and a second coil spring. The linking means, with one end connected with the inner side of the wing 1a, is built in a post column of the guard frame 7 at the closing position of the wing 1a. The second coil spring, connected functionally with the other end of the linking means, generates urging force for opening the wings 1a, 1b.
