PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a manufacturing cost and also facilitate assembly by reducing the number of part items. SOLUTION: In this gas cock, a spring pin as a stopper 1 is penetrated through and fixed in a small diameter hole 17 and a large diameter hole 18 which are formed in a cylindrical part 12 in an upward position of a slit S, a lateral hole part 40 through which the stopper 1 is penetrated is formed in a drive shaft 31 with its side part opened, and first and second rotation preventing surfaces on which both the end parts of the stopper 1 abut from one side and third and fourth rotation preventing surfaces on which both the end parts of the stopper 1 abut from the other side having an interval of 90 deg. from the abutting state are formed in the circumferential direction of the lateral hole part 40.
