PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an apparatus for filling a large number of containers with a fine powder sample by a constant quantity. SOLUTION: A fine powder sample filling apparatus comprises a housing 14 which has an on-off door A provided to one side surface thereof and a guide groove B provided to the other side surface thereof in an up-and-down direction and of which the front part is formed from a transparent member, a stand part 18 having the holder placing stand 19 arranged in the housing, the movable body 21 mounted on the guide part 20 erected on the other side of the housing in an up and down movable manner and a vibration body 26 constituted by attaching a sample housing member 30 to the leading end of the connection lever 23 attached to the movable body. A holder 1 housing a container 3 is placed on the holder placing stand 19 and the sample housing member attached to the vibration body 26 is arranged on the straight line passing the holder 1 and allowed to fall to insert the small diameter part 35 provided to the lower part of the sample housing member in the container and the vibration body is vibrated for a definite time to vibrate the metal sphere 37 housed in a taper part to fill the container positioned under the sample housing part with a fine powder sample by uniform quantity from the gap caused between the sphere and a falling hole.
