PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-quality prepreg without any unimpregnated part or a deficient part in a liquid rubber to be impregnated and useful as a fiber- reinforced rubber material used for a power transmission belt, etc., of automobiles, etc., by impregnating reinforcing fibers with a specific liquid rubber. SOLUTION: This prepreg is obtained by impregnating (B) reinforcing fibers which are carbon fibers having preferably >=1.6% breaking elongation with (A) a liquid rubber having 0.01-100 Pa.s viscosity at 70 deg.C. The component A is preferably a composition, etc., containing a telechelic polymer having preferably 500-5,000 number-average molecular weight (e.g. a hydroxyl group- terminated polybutadiene) and a cross-linking agent such as a blocked diphenylmethane diisocyanate. The content of the telechelic polymer is preferably 70-85 wt.% based on 100 wt.% of the total component A. A thermoplastic resin such as polyvinyl butyral may preferably be compounded in the component A. The content of the component B is 50-70 wt.% based on 100 wt.% of the total prepreg.
