PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable fluid bearing device, which neither malfunctions nor suffers breakdowns due to static electricity occurring on a rotating part, even during high speed rotation and provide a disk storage unit using the same. SOLUTION: In this bearing device, a bearing clearance formed between a bearing sleeve 2 and a shaft body 3 is filled with a conductive lubricant 6 in which antistatic agent is mixed. Static electricity occurring on the shaft body 3, which serves as a rotating part, is always sent through the conductive lubricant 6 into the bearing sleeve 2, which serves as a fixing part. Accordingly, the shaft body 3, that is, the rotating part can be prevented from being charged with static electricity.
