PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk capable of controlling unevenness of thickness of a transmission film. SOLUTION: This optical disk is an optical disk 22 having a reflection film 6 or a recording film 8 formed on a surface of a disk substrate 2 having rugged pits or guide grooves and a transmission film 24 formed on the reflection film or the recording film 8, a laser beam for recording or reproducing being irradiated from the transmission film 24 side, comprising the transmission film consisting of an adhesion layer 12A laminated with a resin sheet 14 and the adhesion layer 12 having a thickness H1 set to about one third or below of the thickness H of the transmission film. Thereby, unevenness of the thickness of the transmission film 24 is remarkably controlled. |
