PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make obtainable an in-line sterilization system which is time effective, continuous and cost effective by providing simultaneity to the start and the end of pulses radiated from a radiation source or the start and the end of exposure of a product to radiation in the measurement of energy by a sensor. SOLUTION: An operator starts a sterilization system 5 by the control of an interactive user interface 10. The interactive user interface turns on and off the sterilization system 5, controls the number of flashes per product, and is used for setting the time during flashing. A computer uses the input of an operator according to programming and directs a synchronous interface 16, an optical sensor 14 and a radiation source 12 to have simultaneity in operation so that only when radiation is produced by a radiation source 12, radiation indicated by an arrow R is measured by the optical sensor 14 and electric pulses of the radiation source are measured by an electric sensor 19. |
