PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer a method and equipment for mounting components, which sucks and mounts a component several times, while intermittent rotation of a rotor stops so as to increase productivity. SOLUTION: This component mounting method uses component mounting equipment provided with a rotor 16 having two or more mounting heads, an index unit 2 which rotates the rotor 16 intermittently, a decelerator 1 which drives the index unit 2, and a camshaft 7 having two or more cams 6 which are connected to the decelerator 1 and move the mounting heads vertically. Shafts 4 and 5 are provided with a connecting means 11 which can be make to approached and separate, and rotation of a camshaft 7 is independently of the index unit 2. During the single stop of rotation of the rotor 16, two or more nozzles are selected so as to suck and mount two or more components. |
