PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sticking method by which a sliced sample is not damaged in the case of sticking the sliced sample held on a carrier tape onto a slide glass. SOLUTION: A pinch roller 11 and a guide roller 12 are arranged on a front side and a rear side in the traveling direction of the carrier tape 2 at a position adjacent to the front surface of the slide glass 3, respectively. The sample 1 sliced in a microtome is held and moved by the tape 2. When the sample 1 reaches the front surface of the glass 3, the traveling of the tape 2 is stopped so as to grip the tape 2 by the roller 11. Then, the tape 2 is fed forward from the rear side and loosened between the rollers 11 and 12, then the sample 1 is stuck to the glass 3. Then, the tape 2 is pulled backward and peeled from the end of the sample 1, so that the sample 1 is shifted to the glass 3.
