<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional image generation system which can improve the processing speed for the image generation and can shorten the display cycle. SOLUTION: The threads are successively carried out for the transformation of coordinates, selection of a visible polygon, generation of a context and set-up respectively, and a single display cycle ends by the rendering processing of a graphic processing part. In this display cycle, a polygon to be drawn is selected by the visible polygon selection thread and the graphics context data are generated by the context generation thread from only the polygon to be drawn. Meanwhile, the rendering processing that occupies a comparatively large rate in a single display cycle is carried out independently a the graphic processing part and accordingly the coordinate transformation thread of the next display cycle is carried out in parallel to the processing of the graphic processing part.</p> |
