METHOD FOR MOUNTING TERMINAL WITH ELECTRIC WIRE ONTO CONNECTOR HOUSING, AND TERMINAL TRANSFER STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insert-mount a terminal with an electric wire onto a connector housing. SOLUTION: An electric wire (a) is brought into pressure contact or crimped to a terminal (t) on a holding jig 14. The wire (a) is mounted from an upper side of the jig 14 in this manner to provide the terminal (t) with the wire (a) by the pressure contact or the like. Then, a pin is pushed up from a through hole 18 to transfer the terminal (t) to a receiving jig 71, and the terminal (t) is mounted from the jig 71 onto the a connector housing. The terminal (t) is inserted in a lump into a cavity of the connector housing from its rear face by this manner to enhance workability. A lower face of the terminal (t) is pressed by a shutter 84 when the terminal (t) is transferred from the jig 14 to the jig 71, so as to prevent the terminal(t) from falling.
